Biography:
An English-born forward, McAlinden made his club debut towards the end of the 2012/13 season in a 2-1 defeat at Burnley as Wolves slipped to relegation from the Championship. Eligible for Northern Ireland through his grandfather, he was awarded multiple caps at Youth level, including at the Milk Cup, before graduating to the Under-21 set-up. He announced in June 2013 that he wished to be considered for the Republic of Ireland, the nation of his parents' birth.
