Biography:
Geordie McMullan, a fierce battling utility midfield player, can prove a useful goalscorer when deployed in the right role as shown with a hattrick against Lisburn Distillery in September 2009. In fact, in 2002/03, his first season as a regular, he finished as Cliftonville's topscorer with seven goals in all competitions. He made his Irish League debut against Ards on 12 January 2002 and has since played in over 200 senior games and scored over forty goals. His fine form, which brought him a Carling Player of the Month Award in September 2009, saw McMullan invited into the Northern Ireland squad for the 2010 end-of-season tour of the USA and Chile though it was an opportunity that he was unable to accept due to a groin injury. A one-time CIS Cup winner and twice Co. Antrim Shield winner, McMullan had previously been awarded the Player of the Month accolade in December 2007.
