Just a little note on Alfie Snape

Before Alfie Snape played for the Glens first team he was playing regularly in the Glentoran 2nds, winning the Intermediate League and played in the Intermediate Cup final against Dublin side Frankfort at Grosvenor Park(St Patricks day 1916) winning 3-1.

You have him listed as Irish Cup runner up in 1915/16, but i can't see that he played in the Final or the replay, he did play in the 2nd round against Distillery

Thanks for the details.

I've a note that he played in the Irish Cup final replay, replacing Bookman. Will have to find paper proof details...

In fact, i came across the match report in the ISN that lists Snape as playing in the reply, Alex Grahams book stated that Bookman played, Roy Frances Book lists Snape

I had first looked at Alex Grahams book, so it must be wrong.
